n54 Boost Levels

most stock motors can go to about .6 bar. I would say .4 bar to be safe.
It does not matter about the exhaust. It is how much pressure you pump into the motor and can the gasket,pistons,conrods etc ect handle the pressure.
Different siz turbos pump different amounts of air into the motor. pressure vs volume of air ...... this are all contributing factors.... and timing......

With tune; DPs & exhaust; DCI i would push for 13psi...you may have spikes of 15psi but heatsoak will be enemy #1...add intercooler and go for 15.5psi safely.
Our current JB tune with (a special board) and above bolt ons & meth and or race fuel see boost of 18psi...but we do not advise unless you monitor your car and know what to expect...with bigger turbos another ball game all together :thumbsup:
