Hi Richard, what exhaust do you have, does it have catts?

A stage 1 remap on the Super Mini, makes maximum 8-10kw. Reason being the boost doesn't change. And well all know the boost is where the power gain is at.

Stage 2 with a 15% pulley will make 20kw more & 35NM more.

Cobb or JB4. Cost is R 9 500 as it's imported.

These gains are achieved by reading the stock map off the vehicle. Optimizations made to the stock file to increase boost, boost limiters & thresholds, torque limiters, fuelling adjusted for increased power, ignition advance optimised for increased boost. Then this new "modified" map is written back to the car.

Are your maps detectable by BMW? Your gains on the 320D are the same as those achieved by the BMW M-Performance pack. They do charge R18K for this however... Makes for a compelling argument?

Yes the Xcede maps are detectable by BMW...so are other maps also, its a risk you take to get those nice gains because of these maps being aftermarket bud.:thumbs:

Actually we have had this tested a few times including Zico who is on this forum & my own personal car connected to FASTA & nothing was picked up. IT cannot be picked up that there are differences in the bits & bytes of a map area of the ECU. What can be picked is if there is a fault that wasn't cleared or you trigger the FASTA by going over the rev or speed limit. Otherwise nothing can be picked up.
