N47 Timing Chain recall?

Hi guys, i came across this post on bimmerpost ( http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1082340 ) and was wondering if BMW SA did a recall on the n47.

USA have much stricter laws around this so it's very unlikely that SA ever did it. There are a couple threads about how to determine what revision you have but I think that the general rule is 2010+ is the safe zone
