My New Rig

Hi Guys

Finally built my new Rig was initially contemplating getting a Macbook PRO but for the price built the following spec PC


MSI X99A SLI LGA 2011 Intel X99
I7 Intel 6800K
Thermaltake Water 3.0 Riing RGB CPU Cooler
Thermaltake Core P3 ATX Case
Antec Neo 650W Power supply
Crucial 4 X 8GB
Samsung EVO 500GB
MSI 1060 Gaming X 6GB

Still busy installing software, then will test out Gaming with BF1

:rollsmile: Ive actually got the led strip lying on my desk I took out of mine NZXT Case with one clear panel as it too much, I prefer the dark. its still has some lighting on the back for when you need to see things (switch)

Nice Rig you got there... I too was thinking of building a new system. Just got myself a GTX 1080 on black Friday. =P Guess I now have an excuse to build a rig to keep up with it.

Thats a kick @ss card you have there. If I was more serious into gaming I would consider one. I will have to see how my 1060 fairs

I like fancy lights makes me feel good :rollsmile: *Only for PC related stuff no under car Neon lighting for me :roflol:

Yeah I need the space to get my hands between the motherboard and graphics card. I will move it a few slots close to the board when everything is finalized

1060 does very well actually. Performs on par or better than my gtx 970.

looks good that way, also doesnt hang on the MOBo slot which is nice.

Its a riser cable that shipped with the thermaltake case I have read numerous reports of the riser cable failing but will see how long this one lasts. If it fails I will purchase LIan LI riser cable.
