I really need to commit to playing some games again.

I still have the last mission in mass effect 3 to finish, from march :flyfun:

and I also have batman arkham city installed and waiting, the previous one was one of the best action games I have played, so this is really on my todo list!

Linux is a very good platform really good server platform, but I dont think its ready for mass gaming just yet.

There are quite a few games you can play on linux using wine, but it will never be as fast or as stable as a native application.

Until opengl catches up to Direct X 11 windows will have the advantage in gaming.

You can as Pink does run linux and wine and dual boot into windows.

Since you can get most applications for free in linux to do everything you need, mail antivirus ect ect.

At the end of day it comes down to choice some people boot in mac os then also into windows as well.

Luckily, my fiancée has those 36 hour calls. She encourages me to game while she pulls a weekend/weekday call better than going out

I've been playing Far Cry 3 this week. This is the first game I think that is really pushing the GPU (Assassin's Creed 3 did not even push it to 30% load):

Loaded the new 310.70 nVidia Drivers.

This is the first time ever for me that the "update your graphics drivers" actually made a huge difference in performance in Far Cry 3.:idea:

I decided to have a look and see if my PC needs some cleaning inside:

All in all fairly clean just some dust inside the fan on the heatsink:thumbs:

Everythink else inside is still clean

Now it looks new again:joy:
