Thanks guys.
Reason why SA gets it last is... Our local distributors weren't sure they could sell a World War 2 film, so they ummed and awwed about whether they'd take it or not... then suddenly, after going to the Berlin Film Festival with a non completed version of the film earlier this year, a UK distributor signed us up. They are our distributor for the United Kingdom, and are our sales agent for the rest of the world except SA. They sold the film at Cannes Film Festival this year to 15 international territories... One of the distributors to distribute my film is called Eone, or also known as Entertainment One. They distribute for USA and have recently just distributed The Hunger Games as well as walking dead tv series. Anyway, that was pretty cool to see.
So, only after seeing the potential, did our local distributor jump on board. But due to the high demand of different versions of the film for different territories, we were unable to conclude the deal until recently. We are still finalizing release dates, but I am very positive this deal with our local distributors will work out brilliantly.
