My engine has no number

I have a M88 in my 1984 745i and it would seem to have had a factory replacement at some time long ago as it has a blank where the engine number should be.
I need to get the number in it so does anyone have any pictures of an SA M88 engine number and maybe the right stamps. The police will do it for me but I would like the correct font and positioning as it’s a collector car.

Checked google and I can find engine number examples but not SA specific.
The number is not usual so I think it would be SA specific and stamped locally like the VIN that is only 5 digits.
