After weeks of deliberation between choosing an E46 and E36 I opted for an E36 after doing tons of research. I come from a Mercedes family so I had to get a very clean one....I still get dirty looks:rollsmile:

The car is a 1998. I have all the manuals including the radio booklet and service books and a printout of motor plan work carried out. It belonged to a lawyer who had to sell it since he needed cash for a property. The mileage is quite high, I just clocked 200k today but all the invoices kept indicate the car has been well maintained to date and I would rather have a high mileage car than a garage queen with potential problems from standing. The most expensive singular piece of work was the left control arm that cost 15k and was done last year by the seller. The car has been maintained by Mech Five by the previous owner.

Thus far I have serviced the car with SMG BMW and insisted that I was present in their workshop when they changed the oil and vanos filters (heard horror stories about them). I now plan to use Garage 808 for future maintenance work. Future plans are modest, replace "yellow" headlights with Osram extreme blues (they actually shine ice white) and keep the car as standard as possible.

This car looks absolutely original and that body work prefect... I would never have guessed 200 000km... This car looks like it has under 100 000km

Any paintwork on the car

Absolutely no spray work. The car is 100% original, has always been garaged and will always be. It even has the original tool kit with everything in place. The former owner was one insane man, he did not allow his kids to eat in the car and his wife complained that he taught her not to "drag her @ss" out of the seat in case it creased the leather. To be honest she was relieved when I came with the cash and yellow forms:biglol:
