Hope I'm not gonna kill my thread cause I have so much to ask and say. But I can't sleep with excitment. So trying to use my phone to post.
Anyways here goes.
My new ride is a 2006 E90 330D auto although first registration was in jan 2007.
I will post the vin decode tomorrow of features. But basically. Sunroof. Sportspack. Black leather interior. Car is white. 18inch mags, zenon with angel eyes.
Its got 139680km on it. The car is in prestine condition.
I have no idea what the previous owner used to clean the inside but it smells like a new car still. I am gonna try to call the previous owner to confirm. I bought the car from McCarty toyota bruma. Paid R149 000 for it.
There isn't anything fancy about the car. No hifi sound system. No tow bar. No pdc in the back. But has in the front which is confusing.
All the rest standard features.
Some history on the car.
Car was in a bumper smash. Repairs costed R30 000. I got the invoice and reciepts etc. Things changed was bumper and intercooler and clips etc. But they did an excellent job.
Car has new brake disk and pads and tyres done 5000km ago. Got reciepts.
Car has a new battery fitted last year.
Has full service history till 135000km.
According to the salesperson the previous owner said the gearbox was serviced. But didn't find any reciepts as proof. Will check with bmw.
New bmw professional radio fitted. Previous radio the cd player stopped working.
Car has the bmw first aid kit still. Has all the stock tools.
Things that confuse me is I would like to know if this car has the phone feature cause there is a mic mounted by the inside light. But when I click that phone button nothing happens.
How can I test the front pdc. Does it have the autobrake feature when cruise control is on. Will post the decode for u guys to confirm.
Do u guys with automatic actually use that sports thing on the gear or just drive in D.
I'm thinking of adding a cf boot spoiler and cf splitters and cf mirrors. But it looks so nice in pure white.
I def want to change the angel eyes from that orange look to pure white.
I would like to upgrade the sound.
I'm thinking of doing software but enjoying the fuel consumption which is sitting at 7l/100km and drove it hard when I collected it. It was sitting on 5.5.
Has rain sensor and headlight washer. But want to test it to see how it works.
That's all I can think of now.

Oh u know what I forgot. In the cubby there is a replica of the key. But it has a plastic key inside the housing where else the normal key is metal. It said to use to start the car. I tried it and it actually did start the car. Surely it must be unsafe to leave in the cubby isn't. But it has a place where it fits. I'm thinking of either taking it out or hiding somewhere else in the car. I wanna try that plastic key to see if it will open the doors. Its not a spare key although it looks just like a normal key but a little different.
