The Boston Green 740i was due to an unfortunate idiot of a bloke in front of me who could not discern between the gas and brake pedals - serves him right. You should have seen his Golf 1 - The car was literally squashed in half (BMW Power)

The Calypso one was being driven by my wife @ a steady 120km/h in the right lane of the Pietersburg highway, when another mutt slammed into the left side and pushed the 740i into the rope barriers. The front bumper was caught in the steel rope barrier and sent the car into a triple forward somersault.

In both cases - No Injuries whatsoever (except for bruised egos).

I am on the lookout for another E38, however some guys (who have these cars for sale) think that M&M guide is gospel and refuse to budge of their price :cursin:

Hmmmm...dont ask me why but reading that story and seeing the picture of that Red 740I jarred my memory. For some reason I have pics of your car on my PC :dunno:

bro, its sad when that happens, but thats why I drive bmw...
first and foremost reason. safety.. when it comes to phyiscs. bigger is better. hate little cars...
