HI Guys,
Last night as I was on the way to the GF, my car decided it was time.
So for the first time in over a year that I have owned the car, there was my first problem.
I THINK its the clutch or the gearbox..not sure.
The clutch would depress, and I could engage the gear (with difficulty ),
When i tried to release the clutch to pull off, it would make a grinding noise. So i immeditaly pulled over and called BMW on call.
They took about an hour to get there, and the guy on the phone asked me if I need a lift home, the tow truck will drop me off ( i live in PTA , i got stuck in boxburg ).
i Said " probably, Can i tell the driver when he gets here, I might stay over at the GF or something " and he said " no problem ".
So the flat bed arrives..Friendly guy, chatting a lot, he gets the car up and he is done and I ask him If he can take me home.
He says No, He is taking the car to a Depot now and then to PTA in the morning. he knocks off word in 20 mins. So i call the BM on call guy back and tell him this guy says he cant take me home, so he asks me if i have my credit card on me, Cos he can hire me a car from the airport.... I told him to get fucked. Im not hiring a car, i have another car i can use at home, I just need to get there..so he says he doesnt know..he will try organise something... I call my brother, he comes from PTA to pick me up, and on the way home ( 30 mins later ) he calls saying he can arrange a technician from PTA to come collect me and take me home...WHAT EVER.
Highly pissed off.
