My 1st BMW :)

Hi everybody, Charl from Cape Town !

So 2 weeks ago I bought my 1st BMW

05 320d Start
She has 140k on the clock and Xenons were a requirement

I've owned 2 VWs and a Ford and so far loving the comfort and sense of relaxation of the BMW.

I've just had the DPF removed and DP fitted at Powerflow Salt River and they did an awesome job

She is still incredibly heavy on fuel but that's another talk for another thread

Looking forward to being a part of this community, the wealth of info has already helped a ton

You need a remap, just DP alone will chow too much fuel :thumbs:

How bad is "Bad" consumption?

The sooner you map the ecu the sooner you can save on fuel cost. But you'll have to restrain yourself from using all the power

@Andy, my best so far over 3 tanks is 11.4km/l, tbh that's OBC figures, but I reset the trip counter and I'm getting between 620 to 680kms
