Must have options when purchasing a vehicle

What options are deal breakers in terms of your purchase?

For me Xenons is at the top of the list followed by a Sunroof and Climate control, the rest would be a nice to have.

Xenons for the visibility obviously but also the aggressive look it gives, sunroof for looks again, I don't really make use of it just tilted mostly, also helps with resale since most people want one. Climate control as it just makes the cabin a more comfortable place with no constant adjustments.

+1 on M-Sport, personal preference.

Decent factory sound system as well, the sound system in our E60 sounds ridiculous compared to the HK in 14 year old 328.

MANUAL must be manual, six pot/turbo/V8(must have power), climate control and leather seats. The rest I don't really care about.

M Sport, Sunroof, Manual

I actually do use my sunroof. Leave it tilted when parked outside on a hot day so the air can circulate in the cabin and at night i leave it open instead of using the aircon.

Everyone is forgetting a major consideration when purchasing a vehicle

It must be a BMW

What I should have taken in retrospect:

M-Sport + M Perf
HK sound!!
Sport memory seats
All the ICE packages available for the iDrive system + navigation

These things change over time.
A couple of years ago I would not have bought a car without a sunroof.
Now, its navigation.

Maybe soon I'll get to comfort seats..
