Motorplan extension price increase

Hi guys... hoping you can shed some light on this for me...

My MP expires end of May next year and I got a call from the agents that gave me a quote to extend time only for R9900, which isn't bad. I'm just wondering if it's worth jumping at the quote and extending now, or waiting until a little closer to the time. How often does the cost of a MP extensions increase?

Don't want to wait a couple of months and then have to fork out more money for the same thing, but if I can safely avoid forking out nearly R10k right now... that would be great!

Thanks in advance! :ty:

The price increases the longer you wait.

You can easly get back more than R10 000 in repairs on your car. I paid R11 300 for year extension on the 335i when i took the car in June this year. I've had close to R40 000 worth of repairs done already.

Real men dont do motorplan....

unless something expensive goes...then you'll be regretting it. or when it comes to resale. People much prefer purchasing a vehicle with a mplan.

Which is why I will drive 800k to 1.2m cars that I bought for a 10th of the price thats at the bottom of the depreciation curve, and that can be sold for the same value I paid for it, or even make a small profit :)

Each to his own on this topic :ty:

I respect that, its your money after all. And each to his own, hence making such a statement can be seen as disrespectful in my opinion. Its like that E90 320i topic.
