Motorplan Expiring on 118i

Hi Fanatics. The motorplan on my mom's 08 118i is about to expire, what problems have you experienced on your 1series? I've done some research but these were all overseas cars. Also what is process regarding BMW replacing the parts? The car is going for a Diagnostic Test at BMW soon. Does she ask them to replace the parts immediately after the test? Up until now, she's had nothing but Sheer Driving Pleasure. She intends to keep the car for another 2-3 years. The car has got 92k on the clock.

SO I am assuming the plans expiring due to reaching 100K km's & not age..


Get them to check cooling system..

Also that bad handling when on rough patches in the road, it seems like you have to fight the steering wheel to keep the car going strait, which you think could be control arms & bushes as well as front shocks.

Then also remember the back shocks, they look like they are leaking fluid (Some Q20 should help)

Then also the brakes shudder & squeek... could be warped disks.. need to be replaced..
