Mission Impossible: FALLOUT

I watched this in IMAX and I was blown away.
The perfect blend of realistic looking action with over-the-top action -
Unlike the FF franchise that has increasingly molested the laws of physics from Part 6 onwards.

The old school BMW race (5-series from 1970s?) through Paris had a Ronin (1998) feel to it.

The story was not the best, but the action was well shot (no shaky cameras) and moved along nicely.

***(Very Minor spoiler ahead in white font)***

My only major grip was the helicopter crash and cable catch/latch scene that felt like an OTT version of the Cliffhanger (1993) climax. Also, the jack-knifing truck scene from the trailer was cut from the movie :(

Loved it!! the way it was filmed.... amazing, far better than the OTT style of the F&F franchise..

watched it in Imax too... storyline was far fetched, but probably some of the best shot action sequences in 2018

So I watched it on D-Box - the shaking was good in the seats and the movie itself seemed like a rerun of a few other movies in a whole

The White text is also a bit shody for me - but you can see the guys / the team is getting OLD in this movie and well i enjoyed it - but would not watch it again, unless its a rerun on DSTV at 11 the night and nothing else on the TV

I agree with the below statement

"The perfect blend of realistic looking action with over-the-top action"
