Hi does anyone have a solution to this missfire. Someone played with the settings on my airflow meter, thus i had to get another one. I now have this missfire and i have changed the plugs x2 had it on the diagnotic machine and showed no faults. Timing perfect. I am now tomorrow going to change the injectors as i read on the bmw forum that if the computer picks up a bad missfire it will shut down the power to pulse the injector thus saving the engine from more damage. Please guys let me know what u think. Its a bmw e34 535 1991. All sensors are working fine. Tnks deryck

Hey, don't know what it might be except for ignition system and making sure the distributor is ok.

I've also got a '91 535i and is interested to hear how this turns out! Let us know.

I actually got them free. Just cleaned them up with carburator cleaner and changed the rubber o rings. I could have used the old ones but had these already. Just make sure u have the same colour. I have a code tacho now showing on the on board computer and have to take it in to have it cleared as i used different coloured ones. Let u know tomorrow

Perfect. Not a misfire and is actually idling so smooth now. Fuel not bad for 535. Town. Havnt taken on the long road yet but will keep u informed. Still have to clear the code. Time issues
