mini rebuild need some advice

Hi Badaz87 i am running a standard 1100 cc short stroke mini clubman engine with a first stage cam and a 32/32 progressive weber carburetor

NICE!!! I hope you give the 1275's hell... I can remember back about 6 years, my friend had a 1275 GTS motor, which he swapped between 3 bodies... everytime he had an "accident", out goes the motor, into a new body... and it ran STRONG... pity he had to get rid of it after he wrote one of the Minis off into a 3series... :hammerhead:

Well let me tell you a quick story: with the standard motor and the standard su carb (no performance parts) I took on a 4.7L V6 or V8 and I left it in the dust. But that night was another story...............

Was it now this of the scope or

this side of the scope that got damaged that day?

The first image. right side for the car got damaged the spoiler + the right brakes got messed up on the sidewalk, lucky for us I am a quick thinker coz of bike riding and alot of nfs games
The new improved brakes will stop in a second, thats why I am doing a rollcage for the seat belts to keep us in the seats and not through the front window.:thumb:

Can anyone tell me where I can find PCD adapters for the mini to go from 4x100 to 4x114?
If anyone knows please let me know.

Hi guys it has been a long time since I have make an update, well here is one. I have got myself the rear bumper that I wanted so here is how it would look on the car.

and the blue of my kawa is what car is going the be sprayed the match my engine color which is cobalt blue.

will keep you posted on my progress with the body kit that I will be starting this weekend.

This is the Bratt in action and yes, he is not only rebuilding his mini, he is also helping to fix this fox.

On this occasion I could only supervise, because I injured my knee on 26 August. We both working on it.

Hi guys I don't have any new updates on the rebuild, but I have this survey that I want to do to find out what to do next.........
I would like to know if there is someone out there that is interested in taking the project over from me, the reason why: I do not have the time or the money to finish it within 4 months.

I have everything for the car with new tires and mags.
The engine is completely redone and perfect.
I will include the designs of the car that I have made.

Sorry you can't finish your project.

Pity you are in Jhb. I don't have the funds now, but might be looking at something like that for my son maybe next year.

Hi guys I am back and my mini isn't dead yet but it is getting a new life.....:clap:
First I need to get rid of all my interior, my windows and my doors, so anyone in need of some parts please give me a shout!


Oh and if anyone has a left hand drive mini's tank I will be needing it when I start rebuilding the mini, it is going to be more awesome than it would have been.

Will try to post a sketch by tomorrow night.

Hi guys I am early with the sketch so tel me what you think?

Its gonna be a two seater now without a roof, I am gonna make a roof that I can clip on when it is gonna rain with a aluminium bar inside to keep it up and in position.
No doors but this car is only for shows and get together's, I will build and install my own anti-hijack.

Now I see u chopping it, have fun loads of work there, can I point out - the front wheels that wide are going to be bad for handling you wont enjoy life, but try it for experience.:thumb:

I have started stripping the sub frames will be cleaning them tomorrow. I need to replace the rear frame coz it got damaged be the previous owner.
I am going to post the pics tomorrow night.
I am thinking of spraying the frames the same color as my body (Blue), it looks great on the minis, as you will be seeing it from the side of the car.
My calipers are gold, so it will look stunning.
My engine is already blue and silver, so I will be adding some lighting effects in my engine bay and in the wheel arches.
