Mini is almost finished

After switching things in and out. I'm almost there.

Changing the entire suspension for the third time. Decided to go with KW V3 coilovers and Vorshlag camber plates. Ordered some BBS wheels which have already arrived. Going back to 17 inch as 18 is too harsh of a ride for me and I get to ditch the spacers which is a bonus.

Nice looking car! Just wondering, why didn't you go for an E39 M5? I'd bet the price of a 540i and those mods would equal an M5. Still a very nice car nevertheless. Big props to you for keeping the 540i badge .
thank you very much.. well I already had this car my dad was driving it so we got the idea to just make it really bad *** and we didn't wanna go through the whole selling buying process lol.. I only spent like 4k with the headliner headlights rims tires paintjob and exhaust.. I'm just 14 btw lol my dads been doing all this for me so that I could drive it as a first car but I have to earn it with graduating with straigh As and keeping up As throughout highschool or else he will sell it. i have no pic

Um, I'm a little confused? This isn't even nearly a 5-series by any stretch of the imagination.

looking good Mike
whats happening with the M's wheels?
Hi revo,

Thanks.

They have been on the car for about 2 months now. I haven't posted pics as I don't want people to recognize me so easily ;)

The old OEM rims are still for sale.

Thanks Bio and dvst8!

Cooper, I have got full adjustable height, dampening coilovers with adjustable camber plates. They are just too hard for me, perhaps I'm getting a little old, but I want a bit more comfort. I've got KW in one of my other cars and I've been quite happy with the ride, hence why I am going the same route with my Mini. Those coilovers (front and rear) have had about 1500km done on them and are about 1 year old. I'm willing to let them go for R5500 - the whole package was R12k with shipping and duties.

---------------------------

I can't remember everything exactly, but this is pretty much what was done.

Phase 1 - JCW 210hp package
This consists of:
*New ported and flowed JCW cylinder head (which I still have, with 25000km).
*JCW 380cc injectors
*JCW intake system
*JCW exhaust system
*JCW big brake kit
*JCW remap
*R90 17" JCW wheels
*OEM Spotlights

Phase 2 - a whole bunch of aftermarket stuff
*RMW cylinder head (larger incolnel valves, titanium retainers and fasteners etc.) (removed JCW cylinder head)
*RMW 4-1 exhaust header (branch system)
*RMW 440cc injectors (removed JCW 380cc injectors)
*RMW oil baffle system
*RMW street cam
*Powerflex upper and lower polyurethane engine mounts
*GRS air to air intercooler
*TSW lowering springs
*TSW rear adjustable control arms
*Alta JCW intake air filter
*Alta intercooler couplers
*Alta 17% supercharger pulley
*Alta pulley tensioner stop
*Alta shorty antannae
*Alta silicone intake hose
*Detroit Tuned bypass valve
*MSD ignition coil
*MSD ignition leads
*NGK iridium spark plugs, 1 step colder
*M7 extreme bonnet scoop
*M7 engine heat shield
*M7 carbon fibre air plate diverter
*M7 strut reinforcment plates and strut bar
*M7 ultimate lower front grill
*M7 engine thermostat
*M7 polished aluminium oil catch can
*JCW carbon fibre dashboard trim
*JCW carbon fibre handbrake handle
*JCW carbon fibre gear knob
*JCW aero front bumper
*JCW aero front grill
*Rob Green aluminium coolant tank
*Nappa belt
*BMW clear rear tail lights
*Racetech boost gauge
*SSS oil cooler with custom adapter plate
*Quaife limited slip diff
*Powerbrake slotted custom front and rear discs
*HEL stainless steel brake lines front and rear
*Carbotech brake pads front and rear
*Mini Mania angel eye LED parking lights
*Halo xenon headlights
*Unichip with custom tune
*Samco silicone radiator hoses

Phase 3
*M7 vortex bonnet scoop (removed my old M7 extreme scoop)
*GRS water to air charge cooler system (removed air to air intercooler)
*JCW R105 18" wheels (removed R90 17" wheels)
*Forge polished stainless steel coolant tank (removed the Rob Green tank, didn't like the look)
*Forge polished stainless power steering tank
*RMW race cam (removed street cam)
*BC racing full coilovers
*Outmotoring rear strut brace
*Outmotoring power steering fan protector
*Devil's Own water+methonal injection system
*Rob Green custom aluminium methanol tank in boot
*Setrab oil cooler (removed the SSS oil cooler due to space limitations)
*82C oil thermostat
*RMW remote tune with redline at 7500rpm (removed Unichip)
*Custom OEM look boost and oil temperature gauges
*BMW gauge steering column gauge mounts
*Minisport 5mm spacers all round
*Minisport wheel nuts and lock nuts
*KMT 16% supercharger pulley (removed Alta 17% pulley)
*KMT alternator pulley
*Powergrid adjustable front and rear end-links
*ATI super damper crank pulley 1% larger diameter
*OEM JCW belt

Phase 4 - still to be done, only 1 more item I'm waiting for to arrive. The rest is already here.
*BBS RGR 17" wheels (removing my R105 18" wheels)
*KW V2 full coilovers (removing BC racing coilovers)
*Ireland Engineering fixed camber plate

There might be one or two things I still left out which I have lost track of.
I brought in all this stuff myself, there is no real local supplier I'm afraid. It's the shipping and duties which are basically 40-50% of the total price of these items. Unfortunately, you have go to pay to play.
You will need to apply for an importers code as well.

All the stuff on there is already sold, unless stated otherwise. Car has been extremely reliable. Has not let me down once in 19,000km since the upgrades. I did a lot of research before going ahead, last thing I wanted was to ruin a perfectly running car.
