Mini cooper repairs Pretoria/Johannesburg

Hi Guys,

Have a Mini Cooper S 2005 in need of repairs and needing advice as to the best repair/maintenance workshops for out of maintenance plan vehicles. Dealerships are rather expensive, to say the least, however not sure if independents will be much cheaper/better. Looking for quality parts and workmanship. Heard that Steve's Auto Clinic (Midrand) and Dastek (Centurion) are fairly good. Not sure if I should bite the bullet and take it to the BMW/Mini dealership. Anybody know of other good maintenance workshops for mini or recommendations on the above-many thanks
