Been driving my E90 for a while now and im very happy with the car the previous owner looked after the car so theres not much wrong with the car.

Theres a few cosmetic issues.
I had some flaking on the steering wheel so i removed the cover.
Sanded it down and then sprayed it i have a smilar issue in the console but i havent attempted to take it out yet

The diffuser at the back looked a bit off so i resprayed it aswell

I sent in the wheels this week for a bit of a refurb and color change

I used tamiya plastic primer and duplicolor vinyl and fabric spray.
I cleaned the steering wheel up with thinners it doesnt damage the plastics.
Taking the steering wheel off was a tricky I used this video for reference.
after i got the trim off i thought ill just rough it up a bit for the primer to stick so i used steelwool to just sand it down a bit.
after this i sprayed on the primer and the the duplicolor.

Hey bud, lovely car man, could you please explain the process you did with the rear diffuser? I need to do mine aswell :rollsmile:

It would be the same as the steering wheel hey.
I even used the same products as the steering wheel so 1 can tamiya Primer and the the duplicolor.

So i got my first glimpse of my new wheel colour.
Guy says its a bit lighter but because its still in the spray booth the colour appears a bit darker fetching my wheels tonight should be on the car by the weekend
