So on Friday night I was driving down Troye street in Pretoria central towards Centurion. I drove the speed limit and as I just about to enter the intersection of Kotze street this police lady decides to skip the red light with no blue lights or siren. So I slam on breaks and just came to a stand still against her nose with a low impact and minimal damaged. So I reached for my safety belt to get out of the car and the next moment I just feel this hard impact from the back of my car and my car just keeps on going I tried the breaks but nothing the car just keeps on going, so I hit the pavement over 3 1m cement poles and came to a stand still just before a fence on the pavement. So I get out and you just see oil and diesel running out of my car.

So that is my story waiting for a CCTV video of this accident might post it for you guys. But all I say is thank God that he protected myself and my fiancé and that we came out will minimal injuries.

Some pictures for you guys.

Thankfully you had some high quality German engineering between you and those other cars. Anything else and you may not have been so lucky, judging from those hits.

Glad you stepped out ok

Sounds like Someone was looking over you. Be sure to take note of any whiplash related injuries such as headaches and tingling sensations if you need to claim it from insurance.

Sorry to hear about the accident. At least you and your fiancé are safe which is what matters. As someone posted above, have a look for whiplash, stiff necks and the like. I stand under correction but I think you have up to a month to claim from insurance for medical matters?

On the other hand, if the car is a write off, perhaps you could get the F30 330d.

Be safe out there!

Glad you and your fiance are safe...

Bad luck bout the car....

Sad thing is that even though this was clearly not your fault, your insurance premiums are going to sky rocket in the future....
