Mic with USB plug that works on laptop?

Anyone know where I can buy one? Staff at Incredible Connection and Hi Fi Corp look at me as if I am speaking Greek if I ask for this?

Please help, mic with aux plug does not work, laptop picks it up as headphones when it is plugged in.
