We have been waiting for these Super Atomizing Injectors from (Coolingmist) to test and fondle with our oily hands and they have finally arrived together with some other brand new additions, rather late than never:thumbsup::

1. First up: The "Super Atomizing Injectors CM7":

"These are brand new Super Atomizing Injectors CM7. Designed to out perform ordinary (outside thread) injectors due to an all new industry first design. The thread pitch is 1/8th NPT which is standard to all injectors, but that is about all this has in common.

These CM7 injectors will flow up to about 10 gallons per hour.

Here are a few features:
* FULLY THREADED Stainless Steel Atomizing Insert
* Insert will not come loose, shake or move over time.
* Precision machined orifice
* Atomizing insert designed for superior atomization and spray angle. Deeper grooves and more narrow pitch gives this injector the superior spray angle and atomization.
* 7/16 center nut for easy removal
* Very small recess to prevent build up on orifice but not restrict the spray angle
* Full threads for easy install in a bung
* Optional threaded filter
* First injector not based on an agricultural spray nozzle. Design and built for water/methanol injection
* Superior construction and build
* Atomizes toward the center, closer to the orifice for better performance."

My plan was to run a dual injector set up CM7 & CM7 but after seeing the powerful spray pattern on this new nozzle (560ml/min)...this will indeed be overkill for a dual set up and I will rather go for a CM5 & CM7 arrangement for high boost applications. There are plans underway by our supplier to produce a CM10 nozzle which will be ideal for use with a NOS set up and of course a sigle nozzle layout.

Here you can see my STETT charge pipe with dual meth bungs and my old injector elbow. These CM7 and CM5 will go right in here with our new 90 degree nickel plated injector holders:

Check out these videos with the CM7 nozzle in action (in the right of the video):

2. These are 90 degree nickel plated injector holders. 1/8th NPT F thread on each side of the elbow. Injector plugs into one side, fitting to other:

Here is the old elbow on the left:

Check the orange plastic tip compared to the new metal quick connect ring...this metal ring is tight once the tubing is inserted:thumbsup: Please note if you do have the plastic tip, there is nothing wrong with it, it will work fine. The new metal ring just give that extra assurance that the tubing will not slip out under flow pressure:

As promised here are the new CM10 nozzles and properly stamped to avoid confusion with its lesser cousins.

Some threads were taken off both sides of the nozzle. See the picture comparison between the CM7 & CM10 below. The CM10 nozzle goes from an overall of .93 inches to .75 inches. This will make it more compact than the current CM5 and CM7 but does not impact on performance.

3. Injector Hose Fittings:
DSC01362.jpg

These connect to the elbow and are 1/8th pipe thread. These have a wonderful teflon seal and metal quick connect ring for full chemical compatibility. This work with 1/4 inch OD hose.

The injector hose fitting in the picture above (on the right) as well as the picture immediately below, fit the checkvalve or any other part that has 1/4 F NPT. These are 1/4 Male NPT with 1/4 Quick Connect fittings. Any 1/4 inch nylon hose will connect. Featuring an all metal design with EPDM internal oring and teflon ring seal.

4. Injector Tee:
An all metal nickel plated tee. It works with any 1/4 inch OD hose. This is also ideal for a dual meth set up if you only have one meth bung in your charge pipe.

5. Checkvalve with integrated filterquick connect:
But before we look at the new big daddy of design. Here are some pics of the old checkvalve with the filter seperated. Let me say again if you have this setup there is nothing wrong with having the filter seperated and before the checkvalve. The quality is stil great!

But I prefer the brand new checkvalve with integrated filter:thumbsup::thumbsup: Check out the next couple of pics:

How does the new checkvalve work?

* One way design prevents vacuum from opening the valve
* Nickel plated
* EPDM seals for full methanol compatiblity
* 320F heat tolerance
* 600 psi max inlet pressure!

A 40 micron mesh filter in the inlet of the checkvalve. This prevents any possiblity of contaminents from holding the valve open and this filter is the ONLY filter needed on your system.

Here the new integrated chackvalve is connected to the flow sensor on the back of the meth tank:

The part below powers the flow sensor and just plugs into the sensor in the picture above.

All grouped together. We also ordered two backlit laser lenses to fit that wonderful CMGS progressive controller gauge; becuase they look soooooooo cute:

That is it and enjoy. For orders contact Revo@Rennzport...:thumbsup:

@Nomercy...you will not go wrong with this mod at all. And for JB3 users this mod is now fully integrated...For example if you normally drive on map 5 and the JB detects meth flows it will automatically raise boost...you can preset what map should be raised eg...from map 5 to map 8....and when meth drops out of the rpm window that was preset....the JB wil automatically drop boost to where it was before...no more necessary to change maps manually or via the laptop.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Ok i am sure Revo will put a package together for you with a quote...:thumbsup:

Beautiful write up and awesome bits of tech... always a pleasure reading your posts Twinz

PS - I always thought the extra power from Meth was EVIL... now I notice the Swastika design of the atomizer and I am finally convinced of it... frikkin Nazi technology :) woohoooo!!!!

Hi guys....sorry for only replying now...no disrespect intended. Its just been a crazy two working weeks for me. Anyway, here goes...

@SlowBMW...Yes we can have the kit available for you within a week. PM Revo for a qoute. I will update the thread tomorrow with some more pics...added some lugs to make it completely "plug & play" to remove when you need the space for all those groceries.:thumbsup:

@George....here is the review of "that" button: http://www.bmwfanatics.co.za/showthread.php?tid=1465....and once again congrats with that quarter mile record time:thumbsup::thumbsup:

As promised here are the new CM10 nozzles...hot off the engineering bench:thumbsup::thumbsup: I updated the first post but here is the summarised version:

I will post up some pics in the week to show how one can make the meth tank/battery and all its wiring truly plug and play. I hope you guys will find it useful.
