Our customer purchased this brute and before leaving on his long trip to the coast made sure to get the paint protected from those dreaded stone chips that he was bound to find on the way down.

Work carried out:
- VPS partial bonnet
- VPS partial fenders
- VPS headlights
- VPS mirror cars
- VPS front bumper (including all the black inserts)

Kuvi,
When you trim the vps with a blade you can cut the paint if you press too hard. I have seen a Ducati with removed vps , and it was full of very fine cuts in the paint where the edge of the vps was. This completely put me off vps.
How do you guys get around this ?

The film is actually quite thick so you dont need to put pressure on the blade when trimming. The weight of the blade alone is enough to score the surface of the film which then breaks away at this point.
