Hey guys, i know its not a Beemer but a German fellow none the less...

So here goes, Ulrich is a 2004 Audi A4 Avant 1.9 TDI 6speed MT with 369k km on the clock.

The millage is high, but i did my due diligence regarding the car with a checks done from our resident spietkop ( A big shout-out for Coisman) He is well deserved of a Bells....

A bit of history on the car 1st owner had the car for 12 years and 311k kms ( was a Gauteng car) so I guess it was long distance driving, 2nd owner had it for 6 years and 58k kms odd done it the time with him.
He has spent a lot of time and money on the car. Small list includes new clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, new suspension all round, new water pump, cambelt brake disks , turbo core ect. A big list.
Car was serviced every 5K kms.

I bought the car for R52k including 2 sets of wheels the 18's as shown below plus the OG 16"s with brand new Dunlop SP sports on it.

The fuel consumption is great im managing 18km/l in town and about 22km/l on the highway.

I really have nothing bad to say about the car such a great drive.

Here is some pics,IMG_20230123_135629.jpgIMG-20230112-WA0025.jpgScreenshot_20230123_162618.jpgScreenshot_20230123_162641.jpg

Congrats on the car.
I assume this has the same motor as the legendary Polo 1.9TDI back in the day....

This was my very first car, albeit in sedan guise. So many fond memories of learning to drive and then doing Jhb to Dbn in 3.5 hours with it a few years later.

My dad bought it as a demo in 2005 at 60k and was sold in 2016 on 340k IIRC, in all that time it was only normal maintenance and the clutch was replaced once. The way the torque gets delivered, makes you feel like you're in a much faster car.

I wanted a S4 model for the longest time as I loved the V8 but then the BMW bug was too strong. Wishing you many miles of great smiles, these are such awesome cars.

Ahh lovely...a wagon...these motors are also very responsive to tuning :devilish: Also amazing how one sees cars with 100k on the clocks with worse interior condition compared to yours pushing 400k

Congrats and wishing you many happy miles.
Thanks Benji, this car is really well looked after, It was a no brainer at the price and the condition.

Thanks KPM. Its not the same at the 2.o TFSI i had but this old girl still has some oomph, BUT the fuel consumption is incredible

Congrats man
The B6 is such a good car. The interior is amazing. Good quality, has aged well, and the concert audio system is awesome.
I loved my 1.8T (red T - 140kw)

A remap to extract potential of that engine and you will have lots of fun. Great Buy.

Very nice car, those motors are so solid...I actually looked for one when I was considering a daily. This one seems to be very well looked after, the interior says alot. Looks also very similiar to my buddy Rion's wagon that he had, nevertheless...these are impeccable. That motor shows it potential as it did very well with the B6 body and many people still have theirs as well with high mileage and doing daily duties like they are still lower mileage.

Wish you many happy kms ahead Stephan!
