Hey Fanatics

I thought i would put together abit of thread to find out what you guys think between Max My Ride & Speed & Sound.
Wich of the two do our Fanatics enjoy more and why and which Mag would you feature your car in if you had the chance and why ?

Speed and sound had awesome content before with allot of tuner cars now they mostly feature gti’s (nothing wrong with them), and mk1 golof’s with rust, which is apparently a new style “rat look” or something. Did not really look at max my ride before. Max power Mag is great! They have a lot of mixed content, makes for some interesting reading. :fencelook:

A friend had his run x rsi turbo featured in it a while back, the article was pretty blunt tho not much details on the car.

To be honest, I think some of the cars featured in these mags, don't deserve to be there.

Both Mags feature the same cars i've noticed depends on which mag gets to the cars owners first to do an artical.

I collected SnS from issue 6 i think, but stopped. Was a great mag. But i think both mags are running out of top modded cars in SA to review.

Now that i think about it, there was a blue citigolf with a pair of 15" subs and really expensive wheels featured last year, belonged to a guy i know.

Neither! Both mags do the tuning stuff......need a mag to feature classics, pure OEM porn ones!

Both mags deliver the same content over and over again. I mean if you own a Golf gti 5 or 6 and you just put in a nice induction system, software and exhaust system, then you are guaranteed a feature. Or you do the common and famous golf mk1 ABF conversion then you are featured. In every issue there will always be a Golf 1,5 or 6 featured.
So to me they are all the same.

I've never seen a 318 BMW featured or 1.6 tazz with mods in both mags. I just buy them for the advertising in case i see something interesting that i want to buy or do for my car.
