Ola Gents,
Masstronix would like to firstly thank BMWfanatics for putting together yet another great event whereby fellow fanatics and different tuners could get together and meet each other as well as socialise on a different level.
Well Done Chaps..:clapper: Looking forward to next year in KZN.
We as new Tuning brand would like to pay special thanx to our crew that has been forming & growing over the year leading up to our first dyno day held at KAR Performance, leading up to the BMWFanatics Race Day 2016.
As the weeks drew closer to the Main Event - Race Day 2016, our racers started prepping their cars, from new mods and fine tuning happening daily, even nightly to get the cars race ready. Some minor hickups where encountered along the way but we dealt with them in their strides and continued onward. A number of our cars where fine-tuned right up until Saturday & Saturday Night. Some of the cars where doubled checked on FR&R Dyno - Thank you to Leon for allowing us this, as we know that FR&R was also prepping for the Race event.
6am Sunday morning and all of Our Crew arrived at our headquarters in PTA east ready to leave for ODI. (Damn it was cold). One stop on the way to ODI for some HOT coffee and off on the road once more.
We arrived at ODI 7:20am to a well-structured scrutiny section of the cars and Number allocation for our drivers. The BMWFanatics staff did this swiftly. :clapper:
We then proceeded to setup camp, Make some Breakfast supplied by our Loving Wives and Gf's whilst the crew was briefed about the track rules and processes so that we could line up for the 1km runs.
After the briefing, it was guns blazing, engines firing, tyres burning and rubber left on the track as we set out down the strip for our 1km runs.
After lunch our racers where nervous as the 1/4 mile runs where about to commence, this is where we wanted to see how well our cars where running as this was the 1st time out for a number of us on a track -Somewhat different from street racing.
:skit:
All our racers commenced prepping their cars, from fueling to tyre replacement for those running semi slicks.
Overall the Masstronix crew had a fun day out with some great results for all. 3 Trophies from our winners. Well done gents on our achievements. We shall keep at it, having fun, making friends and racing cars whenever we get a chance to do so.
Stay True to our brand and we will succeed as a family.
Thank you again TEAM.
Lastly, a big Thank you from Masstronix to BMWFanatics, @Arbee thank you very much for all that you have done to make the day a great one for all of us, accommodating the racers as well as the spectators throughout the day!
Here are some pictures of our winners as well as some random pictures of the Race day…enjoy
