Manual downloads

Hi all, does anyone have a reliable source for downloading workshop manuals? I run on pre-paid mobile data, so cost is a major factor and corrupt files expensive. :thumbdo:

www.isohunt.com.... Just remember to dowload Utorrent or Bittorrent. Isohunt contains all wellknown torrent websites including pirate bay. Also you can only download something that has a seeder.

torrent and you shall find...

?? Please remember, BC, BEFORE COMPUTERS! I'm the original computer dummy, 0% IT. How to go about this without selling the house? At 60c/Mb, a "little" file is a fortune!

1) Download a decent torrent program. Utorrent is probably the easiest to download and intall (its idiot proof:rollsmile:)

2) go to sites like thepiratebay.se or isohunt, and type in what you're looking for e.g. E46 Haynes manual.

3) with luck, and you avoid clicking on the dodgy pop up porn/gambling banners, you will see a list of results. Click on the magnet icon next to the result to start the download. NB: Make sure the file has a number of seeders. on the piratebay, this appears as a number in the column marked SE

4) make sure you close and exit utorrent properly (it will still run in the background if you just close it, otherwise it will continue to seed the file once the download is complete, and this will eat up your expensive MBs

as an example, the e36 manual i downloaded was about 150mb....

Where are you situated btw?

I don't believe in downloading illegal or pirated stuff, I would rather pay for it. That includes music, software, and anything found online or in the streets.

And I don't judge those that do! So each to his own!

If this is what you believe here are some legit paid sites(I have no affiliation with these sites just did a google search. Not sure if i am allowed to post them so admins remove if necessary)

www.motorbooks.co.za

http://www.emanualonline.com/Cars/BMW.htm?osCsid=af187df1cd68b5b6c2c80047bd840dfb

Only R120 bucks odd for the download.

That's a bit more acceptable than R500+ for some printed manuals.

The wheel is a new invention here, so, as you can imagine, we are "technologically challenged!" @ Loom, me hearty bosun be sailing a 318 E46, took a canon ball in the rigging, now only does 5 knots with a tail wind. Arrr :roflol:

So I raided the treasure chest, scraped out the barrel and sold the ship's cat, got data and did this torrent thing. Got Utorrent, visited Pirate Bay and found the item I need, not so hard. Clicked on download and got... YOU DO NOT HAVE PERMISSION TO ACCESS THIS PAGE. :bangdesk: Finally managed to get the Bentley E46 manual downloaded and opening, only to find that it covers the 6 cyl engines only, no 4s. Just not my day. So now, back to the search for a Haynes E46 manual, hopefully that will cover the N42 engine. Just have to join up with the Somali guys, find me a tanker to hijack, top up the reserves, Arrr.
