MainGaming is pleased to announce that we have partnered up with Greenstone Shopping Centre in Edenvale. From the 24th of June till the 15th July, MainGaming and GreenStone Shopping Centre will be hosting numerous tournaments with awesome prizes!!!

SO HOW DOES IT WORK?

Simple! Our Interactive Display Units will be setup at the centre court of the Shopping Centre with the latest games!

Weekdays will be for anyone and everyone to play,practice,shoot,race,score etc ABSOLUTELY FREE!!!

Weekends will be strictly for tournaments. Now here's where the fun starts...
We've lined up 7 tournaments for the Holidays, So if you a gamer you simply cannot miss these chances to get your hands on some amazing prizes.

what are the costs of competing in the tournaments.

I dont think that this is a contravention of the rules. This is the Gaming Forum. All you are doing is promoting what this section is all about, gaming and the enjoyment thereof.

For the GT5 competition, is it a fixed car or must people bring their own car and setup? How would you handle getting the cars to and from your display console? I see the rules state a weight limit of 1100kg, is that the minimum or maximum?

You will be allowed to use any car as long is it meets the requirements. They Will be time trials on the Sukuza circit and the cars available will be the standard cars the the game is shipped with

There will be 2 GT5 setups. One a complete racing rig and one setup with a normal contoller. You can play on the one you are comfortable with

Both games have pros and cons ... Pro Evo is more of an arcade game while FIFA is more of a simulator

Sorry for the late response. I have been battling to get on my feet again.

The guys that helped setup and were taking scores on the weekend were friends. Unfortunately, MainGaming is not in a position to employ people at the moment. A friend, mikkaeel help me a lot with setup etc. May friends from the FIFA section of the PS3ZA site, check here, help out with officiating the matches and setting up. They dont get paid and they just doing me a favour.

Were you there on both days. I only got there with my clutches yesterday afternoon.
