Hi gents,
Am new to the forum, but looking for some assistance. Am going to be doing the m50 manifold swap on my e36 328i, Have got most of the parts but am having some problems sourcing the size of pipes & elbows required for the swap. Any idea where i can get 19mm vacuum reinforced pipes & elbows, and can the the breather pipe that comes of the the tappet cover to CCV replaced with a normal pipe cos mine has a few cracks on it.

Thanks in advance.

Its not a big mission to install and yes you will feel a noticable diff in the drive of the car...
However get it done right by someone who knows what hes doing and get the car tuned/remapped after and trust me you wont go wrong:thumbs:

well i could give it to some1 to do, but i like trying to do things on my car, and doesnt seem to complicated from what i read on most of the tech. write ups. so will take it apart once i source the pipes.
wasnt really planning on doing remap or software cos most the threads say that the car computer will adapt to the increased airflow????

If you are mechanically minded it should be fine to do...all the best with that:thumbs:

I would highly advise a remap/tune though to get the full effect of the mod

The remap/tune is to regain the low end torque that you are going to loose with M50 installation.

ok, thanks to some help from fellow member Tyron i got all my parts to get the manifold swap done, but after pulling out the manifold i realised thats there been some gremlins in my engine bay cos the bracket closer to the firewall is missing and the thin vacum lines were just hanging there. i know one them goes to the fuel pressure regulator, but where does the other go to and are there any other vacum lines that are missing?
Once again thanks for help guys
