They are pretty hard to come by, you might be in for a bit of a wait and a highish asking price....

+1 Very scarce! These are. Plus the Throwing Stars and Wykid's M-Parallels

Good luck with finding those.

But are you sure they will fit. Whats the offset on them. You'll need something like et22 or less for the e12

All I know is that the throwing stars are 17x8 with an ET of 20
BUT they both use the same rim, it's only the cover i.e. turbine/throwing stars that is different.

IIRC the hub center on e34s are not the same as the 72.5mm as the e12 but sprigot rings should sort that out then

I am in need of these rims. Just got myself a 1983 E12 528i, need these to compliment the car

How much are you willing to pay?

Been there "money no object" and I still couldnt find M5 wheels for my M5. Seems it's an availability thing. Makes me a little sad that the wheels my car is supposed to have are all on other cars and I'm still running aftermarket on the real thing. Oh well I'll keep looking.

Why? are you maybe selling some?

Not so clued on the specs of the car whether the rims will fit or not..:fencelook:I know that it will look really good on the car, I am in no rush to get them.. So please keep a look out for the rims :search:

It's really a numbers game. Will the price I get for the rims exceed the value I'll lose selling my M5 without including them in the deal

Depends on your buyer as well. many people do not like turbines at all and 50% of people will mod the car beyond being able to return it back to original at a later stage.

Think of a price an PM it to me... you never know

Rick, you presumably know what you'd be willing to pay. You no doubt have a better feel for the value (to you) of the rims and their scarcity than do I, so PM an offer to me

I personally never liked the appearance of these wheels, but that was before I knew their actual function - so didn't like due to ignorance, but after I found out, fell in love with them! M5 needs these wheels or of course Throwing Stars! :praise:

Would cost about R20k to get it from the stealers :fencelook: my bad, R24555 ex vat for just the rims. (no cover) :fencelook:

And that's what they want for most of their wheels - priced roughly the same for these 335i 17" wheels that I managed to find!! For M5 Turbine or Throwing Stars I can "understand" this sort of money...
