Guys, for those in the S/Suburbs. Those cameras beneath the 2 bridges Kromboom and the Wynberg turn-off are working. Just received a fine in the post. Please be min:thumbdo:dful.

The first camera, for whatever direction you would be coming from will take your time passing and at the other end [camera] it would calculate the average speed and time interval taken between. Thus would determine whether you have exceeded 100k/h which is the speed limit. Your fine will show 2 pics, with times on each pic. My fine was R150 – 116k/h

Sorry but I have to ask how you got the fine when they have these mega big 20 foot signs you cannot miss that say.........

"Warning - average speed prosecution by camera"

and then some very strange looking cameras under the next few bridges?

Ah well at least it's better than guys hiding in camouflage behind some bushes.

You can see light right through the box so I'm sure there is nothing inside, but habit keeps me slowing down there.

As far as I know the signs are not there anymore?

Last time I drove down there the signs were taken down...

When I saw that, thought "definately not working... for sure"

Clearly I was wrong....:bangdesk: :bangdesk: :bangdesk:
