M3 Drivers...face palm

Not sure what all this is about, but damn is he giving BMW drivers a bad name

A dashcam video from Belgium shows a BMW M3 driver violently brake-checking a van on a highway.

The footage shows the van moving to the "slow lane" after passing a truck. All of a sudden, a black M3 bursts into the frame, blasting past the van on the inside.

The BMW driver then hits the anchors right in front of the loaded van. Similar brake-checking follows before the van leaves the highway to relative safety.

I would like to know what happened before the start of this clip. Every story has three sides to it, my side, your side and the truth.
I disagree with his behaviour though, but I think we're only seeing half of the picture.

I dont believe that the Truck driver was innocent..

IF you look at the speed of the van he doesnt attempt to slow down much, which is not what you would do if you were in the right, you would be shocked and swerve trying to avoid the situation, he would also stay in the slow lane indicating to the BMW that he wanted no part of it, but he looked like he was trying to antagonise the driver further.

The van driver is clearly not showing us something prior to this.

Really??

He was trying to go into the slow lane after passing the truck, u see him move the van slightly to the right as the chop in the bmw passes him then continues to go into the slow lane.

That bmw driver is just a proper cock as Jeremy Clarkson would call it!

when the M3 went around him on the left, I dont see him trying to avoid the M, he just carried on, as if he saw the car and chose to ignore it.

My point is why did he move into the fast lane in the first place, he could have stayed in the slow lane ( he was not going any faster than the golf) after seeing how the M3 driver was behaving and keep a safer following distance, he didnt. Also Vans have greater braking power than that, if that was a truck then my argument doesnt stand, but if indeed a van, didnt look like he attempted much at slowing down throughout the video (use the golf as a marker).

I dont agree with the M3 drivers antics, not at all, but I dont think it was unprovoked.

Anyhows all speculation, I may be wrong, idiotic driving!

Yeah for sure. I admit I suffer from road rage, but never to the point that guy took it.
From my understanding, he overtook the truck then moved over (remember they are driving on the right hand side, so your fast lane is actually the left lane). If you look very closely, you see him swerve the wheel very slightly.

Whatever the situation, the BMW was wrong to react like that. It's immature and puts all the other road users around them in danger if an accident were to happen.

To be perfectly honest if I was driving the truck and that asshole slams on brakes in front of me.. I drive into him, very simple.. his car will look way worse than the truck.

something must have happened prior to that but to carry on with it.. not a good idea

I would also just slam into him, however if it were in SA you would be held liable for not keeping a safe following distance or some nonsense :flyfun:

That's only if you have a camera on board. So yes this guy would have some evidence against the BMW driver.
