M135i tyre pressure sensor issues

Hey Fanatics,

Anyone ever seen this issue before:

When I select the flat tyre monitor and initialize a check, it says 'Resetting Flat Tyre Monitor (RPA)', it never lets me check my tyre pressure, I've tried turning the car off and one, I've tried taking for a drive then checking, I've tried it on a cold start, I've also tried with only the ignition on, can anyone possibly share some light? I would take it to BMW but they were kind enough to cancel my motorplan so that':RedNo:s not really an option.

I made a short video of the issue just incase

Only monitors tire pressure and will pick up when a tire is deflating. It can not give you a pressure reading.

Ha ha ha, I know that, normally it just confirms that all the tyres are OK, instead its just popping up with a reset message.

I'm not quite sure what you want to do. It only initialises/resets when you drive away. As Johan said, it won't give out a reading. And in your video you can see it says Flat Tyre Monitor active so if there was a problem it would let you know.

How did your plan get cancelled btw?

How did they cancel your plan??

It does that way too fast. If i initialize it takes several seconds and then confirm that it is ok. Yours pops up immediately almost seems as if the car thinks it is not stationary, were you in park when doing this?

BMW got a pic of my car with a modified exhaust, asked me to bring it in... and they cancelled my plan, which properly sucks but its one of those things, my car was in park, ive also tried doing that check in neutral and I've tried it without the car running (ignition on only), just wonder why it doesn't do that check, I know it wont give the actual pressure, that's not the problem though, its supposed to do a check to make sure all tyres are showing as normal and instead of doing the check, it immediately pops up with that reset message which is strange, just wanna know if anyone can possibly assist in getting this issue resolved.

I can imagine its one of the wheel speed sensors. The car probably doesnt think it is stationary and you cant init the system.

Thats actually a very good suggestion cause my stop/start doesnt work either, I'm running MAFless though with my BMS intake, I thought that could've caused the stop/start to stop working, but definitely not the pressure sensors.

Maybe I'll take it to BMW and see what they find, obviously cant claim from motorplan but atleast I can decide based on their quote.
