M135i - Fan kicking, limp mode and error code P013A ?

Hi Guys

Fan kicked in really loud this morning on different 2 trip. The car rested for 30 minutes between the trips. I knew something is up so i read the codes on the ECU with torque pro and it popped up with P013A Power train fault (P013A Generic DTC: O2 Sensor Slow Response - Rich to Lean)

There car is on reserve tank, I am not sure if this could cause a lean condition in and effort to save fuel, also the 1st trip when the fan kicked and it went into limp mode I was in ECO Pro on highway

I cleared the error with torque pro will see if it appears again. Has any had this issue or similar ?

Yup.

There should be other errors codes too.

So I am not sure what code mine threw but it was at JSN some time ago for the fans going on like mad in traffic... They updated the software and the car and I have never had an issue again.

This code though - seems more serious :thumbdo:

Will drive it home today and see if issue occurs again if so will book it in.

Update* Long overdue but anyways.... It was actually a faulty thermostat which was sorted out by JSN issue never happened since it was resolved
