M-sport kit

Hi guys,

I gave BMW SMG a call to find out what the prices are for the various components that make up the M-sports kit.

So I think I'm going to upgrade gradually in stages. But one thing I like about the kit is the m-sport gear lever. It's only R380, which isn't too expensive.

The gear lever present on my E90 is too tall, in my opinion. Gear changes are not as crisp as they could be. Is it worth getting ? All those who have the M-sports kit on their E90's, please chime in.

I'm going to make the call Monday to have the front spoiler and gear level installed, just want to get feedback from users who have the kit.

With the sport seats being able to drop right against the floor it makes gear shifts easier having a shorter stub. Honestly I doubt that you are going to get the "crisp" gear changes you would like. Only other thing about the short shifter is that it looks really sporty.

I must admit, the standard E90 gear leaver does feel a bit "clumsy" to me too - the M Sport gear leaver looks a bit more sensible...

I don't know if I'm seeing things but do you get an M-sports gear lever and a performance gear lever or are they one and the same ? I had a look on the BMW website but the performance gear lever looks really cheap. I'm guessing the performance gear lever and M-sports are two different things.

If anyone has the M-sports kit, please post a pic of the interior if possible. It would be appreciated. Thanks.
