M Sport bumper

Hi guys

Can anyone with a M Sport E90 tell me if the 2 black plastic (left and right) things at the bottom of the bumper must be fitted from the outside of the bumper or from the inside?
The panelbeater that sprayed my bumper bolted it from the ouside, but it looks funny to me and I can't remember how it was

It just looks wrong must be bolted from the inside .The screw must be In front of the lip.
