Hi fellow M drivers [e46 /e60 ,63]]

So one of my buddies who is always on the web trying to find ways to make his Hondas and EVO 10 go faster than M cars and spending much money in the process sent me this website address , www.eliseracing.com .I checked it out and see that this people supply a complete kit with standalone controller to fit the M-DCT box of the e-92 m3 into the e46 M3 .Now that had me thinking that would be a good idea to salvage an SMG m3 and stick in this conversion , even better yet , why not build which would be for me the ultimate M car , a v10 m6 with this M-DCT conversion , I did not enquire about the price seeing it is a British company and anything bought in pounds nowadays can make a grown man cry.[/b]

There is so many technical aspects to consider, I cannot think it would be financially viable. But a nice pipe dream none the less!

I think Tune Tech was attempting to fit an M DCT box (I might be wrong) on an E60 locally

Yes they were, think it's on hold. But I know they have a v10 in their e92 M3 but think it's manual.

if you go onto their website then it seems they are fitting this bmw M-DCT box too just about anything from e46 M3 ,to cosworth sierras and Toyota supras , they build a stand alone computer for the box and you can buy it in complete kit form for cars like the e46 M's .They also build and engine box controller to fit the V8 with the M-DCT box in any race or road going chassis .I know of about two v8 M's with DCT-T boxes that are being broken up because of accident damage , so it can be made possible if the rand against the pound was not such an issue.
