Guys

I recently returned a set of springs as I thought that its wasnt as simple as remove and replace lowering springs on the e92.
Theres talk of replacing the bumpstops with e46 ones,to improve ride quality.

Its this is relatively simple mod (without EDC) or is it worth messing with the dynamics of the stock suspension

Or let me put it differently. I have been "lending" most suspension parts from the e92 M3 except for the Lsd for my 335 and the components are light and awesome.

springs only is more for looks than handling you need to at least change dampers also to make a big improvement... If the bump stops are too long for the lowered car you can just cut them down in most cases :)

You see , it was either £200 for springs or £900 for coilovers, and as I don't track the car as often as I should, there's no need for it.

Lots of guys have been using e36 m3 bumpstops with lowering springs, to prevent the car from bottoming out sooner because of the lower ride height.
