Low Battery Warning

70Ah battery from BMW is R1950, with old battery and discount.
Registration is R580 also at BMW.

Got my Battery Replaced last week.

Before I took the car in to BMW I had a look at the voltages, when the car was not running the battery read 12.24V and 14.85V at idle.
I did this just to check if the alternator was charging it correctly, is this the case?

Once the battery was replaced I also noticed that the iDrive started up instantly where with the old battery it took a few seconds.

I went ahead and did a 90Ah upgrade and John from LeoHaese assisted me with it.

i have been phoning around as my oem battery on my lci 320D is also on its way out.

I feel that the best option is Varta, but no one has stock.

here are the options i have come accross (mine is 80ah)

Bmw Bruma - R2 540 (less R228 with trade in) :skit:
Varta (no stock) - R1960

i got recommended Duracell which lots of stock available at R1 900
any one recommend these?

That's a good price. I paid about 1800 from battery centre menlyn for a 668 80ah raylite they offered me a bmw battery for 2.3k.
