Looking for Micro Power Module

Hi,

I have a 2005 530D Pre LCI, the Micro Power Module (MPM) for iDrive, which sits under the boot, got water damaged :blueCry:

New one from Dealer is gonna cost around 3K, just checking if anyone has one available or knows where to find a 2nd hand one? It would be much appreciated.

The flywheel and clutch kit replacement costed me an arm and a leg, now this thing is gonna take another finger of mine if I get a new one from stealers... I have attached a picture of my current damaged unit.

Have you tried local scrap yards?

Contact Combined Electronics in Plattekloof and speak to Henry and ask if they can repair it for you. They do a lot of electronics on Bm's, Mercs and Porsches, etc
