looking for best place to have Bmw X5 e70 dpf issues fixed

Hi all am nrw here just bought a 2007 BMW X5 3.0d E70 which had dpf removed and its showing particle filter warning and engine fault warning. Engine running rough and stalls. I dont know who did the dpf removal or what else was done Who is the best to sort this out in jhb

Budler Motorsport will install software to correct it, he did the software on my wife's X3 3.0d yesterday. Your other option is Gert@OBDWorks who is a forum advertiser.

Hi guys, thanks for all the advice. I finally got it sorted by a company called plug and play in centurion (www.plugandplay.co.za) it just needed software as the dpf had been removed. Cost R2500.

Understood, did you consider putting a secondhand one back, would have been cheaper since most people remove them and throw it away, blocked or not...
