Helloooooooooooooooo
I’ve been lurking the forum for a while now with the odd post here and there. So I thought its long overdue to say a proper “hello”.
I’ve had the Beemer blood since my 1st one, an E36 318is. It was the 1st car after my student days. Got it with 60k kms and loved putting another 70k kms on the clock. Not the fastest car, but great fun to drive. Next up was a E46 325ci and wow what a car. E46 coupes still the best looking shape to me. Again it wasn’t the fastest car, but on the open road that straight 6 was soooooooo smooth. Way more of an open road crusier than city driver. It was fun in the corners, but felt a lot heavier than the e36. After a few years and finance permitted it was time to upgraded.
Enter the E92 335i and unlike the other 2 Beemers this thing hauls ass! Fast, loud and I love every minute of it. Got the usual n54 FBO mods. I’ve had it over a year now and its given its fair share of problems, but by far still the best car I’ve owned. O, and the other 2 Beemers had zero mods! Things were a wee bit different for the 335i. Exhaust done after 2 months, software the following month. Then once out of MP everything else was done and still the hunt continues for more...
Thanks to this forum for being such a great wealth of information and knowledge. I never needed much help with the 1st 2 beemers, but the forum has helped me tremendously with the, lets say, moody and temperamental N54 engine. Thanks also helping supply the modaholic in me with plenty of ideas and opportunities to keep the addiction alive and strong.
Will post some better pics soon. O and the good looking (edited) photo was done by “Mr D Swiss”.
