Secondskynz is a LM agent.

I am running LM in the E46, the mini, had it in the golf, did 2 oils changes on the 540, running it in the M5 (10w60)

Actually ordered gearbox and diff oil from them as well for the M and the E46 that I have yet to go an pick up. Stuff is cheap in retrospec and it seems to be of dcent quality.

I'm going to using this again in the 320i but the 5W30, at the last oil service they used Castrol SLX. I'm going to do an oil service after 12000km's then at the normal interval again.

the 5W30 tends to burn a bit in the 320i, but the 5W40 was brilliant, didnt use a drop.

BMW say that the oil use in the M54 is normal and was well within spec, but I'm not used to a car using oil, and if it does, it should be a very small amount.

Speak to minimike19 about the grade of liquimoly that you would require and try it out.

Hmmmm.... I'll rather skip that one. He has a habit for ignoring my queries.

Don, Im going to smack you. :slap:

Proposed becoming a seller to my dad and he sounds keen, just need to work our way around the pricing and how we can manage this.

For those who want to know why I have not replied to Liqui Moly queries.

I do not work for SOS Oil, nor Liqui Moly any longer. And honestly, in the last few months I have not even had time to relax, let alone try help people with queries and do everything I am expected to do in my current employment.

However things are changing for me and without speaking to soon - Freerider and myself may open our own Liqui Moly branch for the forum.

I am discussing it with my father and I will give feedback as to whether we will be going through with this.

Once again, I apologize.

Mike

apparently those valvetronic engines are infamous for burning oil and sludging up due to blocked oil separators.

I've only used the car on weekends and thus far I haven't needed to top up on oil. If you guys do decide to sell to the forum you'll have my support !
