I have a 2004 318i auto. The rear warning lights(red) for tail lights come on and off all the time. All the bulbs are working. Any ideas what can cause this false warning?
Check the ground wire on the light cluster housing. It's a common problem that can be fixed by bypassing the ground wire onto the metal plate on the cluster. There is a thread about this somewhere, but I can't seem to find it right now:flyfun:
