its 6AM, its damn cold but we on our way to the track.."no we are not late but still rushing because qualifying is at 8! :yuck:
never the less we arrive at the track and immediately get into prepping.
in friday practice Gavins bumper nearly took a beatingdue to twitchy breaks, then in quali his brakes locked up, threw him around and he lost his bumper..
after an exciting qualifying round the results were in

and our BMW team were on top.(3 in the top 5)
first race is up and i unfortunately never had the parts in time to repair gavins bumper and he had to go out as is, however after the first race we managed to finish in 7th again with 4BMW's in the top 10 and achmat achmat in his fierce M3 taking the win.

round 2took place after lunch at 2 and boy oh boy was it something else, niyaaz modack mad a debut in his ex production Audi and it was flying i tell you, so much so that our main fighter had to finish second. and gavins car unfortubately not finishing either due to drive shaft issues.

Thaabit achmat also not finishing as his clutch gave in and threw him out to park on the side of the pit straight just 2laps into the race
the overall results were satisfactory given the days ups and downs

but im sure on the next race dated 03-september-2011
tables will turn, some new testing will be happening for gavins car, a new clucth for thaabit and i guess better strategies for achmat.
