to be fair herr bmw asked us to meet with him when he was down and we did not...

Not to flame or add fuel to this but at that time we only had like 5 or 6 regular members and everyone was busy.

I don't see how that justifies 'nothing happens at the coast' and we all know the durban okes try freaken hard to host events. Just disappointing that many don't pitch.

Comments like that just leave a bitter taste in the mouth especially the few okes that really make an effort.

Anyway we should start a thread for the 4th soon.

I actually don't care about changing people's impressions. The regulars that get together on most events are truely passionate about the BMW brand, enjoy each others company and want to make a difference in the greater community that we live in. Whenever we get together, whether that be once a month or once a quarter and irrespective of the number of people / cars attending, we have great fun and make it a special ocassion. Most that have attended a KZN event or two will agree that I was a great day out. Therefore if Herr has an issue with us not meeting with him then he needs to get over that and not flame because we will defend our honour. However since he has not commented since his earlier post, I give him the benefit of the doubt and await his response. Rant over....

Anyways guys, I wont make the next event on the 20 Nov as I will be moving house on that weekend. I am looking forward to attending an official event again soon but I'm sure we will meet for a few "milkshakes" :drink: soon.

strange was down for two weeks and never got invited for milkshakes or burgers

only one person went out of his way to show me around the midlands,and then at another event you left him all alone at a garage waiting for the rest of the guys to pitch up,i think he will still have been waiting if he hadnt decided to go home

you guys plan a date and event,1 week before change the date,later change again,then all of a sudden gets cancelled

when i do go down i will only let one person know,as for apologiseing,get stuffed,im entitled to my opionions and will stick to it.
dont think because you like bmw,i dont,i love my car and dont have to belong to any club to prove.

say what you want ,ban me ,report me,critise me,burn me ,swear at me,or anything else,i just couldnt be bothered

We actually dont give a crap about whether or not you tell us when you next come to KZN neither are we holding our breaths for an apology from you. When you came here, we had an event a week prior hence the no show. Bear in mind we have a much smaller squad so not much happens if 5 people are unavailable.

Anyway there was no need to aggravate a harmless situation with your comments dude.

Maybe next time when you're down, take a page out of Coisman's book. Be pro-active and enthusiastic and keep encouraging the guys to meet up.
