I want to add to what 922-ZN has touched on, the response from the community was dismal to say the least... I do understand that this was a rescheduled date because of the torrid weather Durban has recently had but this kind of turnout is not the level KZN has previously had... a serious rethink needs to be had on the level of commitment that the membership is putting into hard planned events.
on a lighter note, I have been to many of the KZN dealerships for product launches but non of them come close to the level of service SMG South coast put up for us. On arriving at the dealership the Dealer principle (yes its true) was there opening the gate.:blowheart:
Dale and the rest of the team gave us free reign of the dealership with some awesome cars on the floor to oogle at. The Barista was on form with cappuccinos and biscuits to refresh our mind while the sales team put up some lovely branded merchandise at cost price for us...
After about an hour at the dealership we were joined by the NPS guys who came to support the event, You guys have some lovely cars and it was a pleasure meeting yourll!
We all departed in convoy around 11am to the Waffle house for some signature breakfasts and some good conversation. Our thanks go again to the team at SMG S/C who graciously picked up the groups tab! That was an unexpected but very thoughtful gift!
I want to end this by saying, Dale and Team, you guys have probably the most beautiful BMW dealership in KZN and probably the most approachable team at any dealership I have met. Thank you for an amazing day and from us at BMWFanatics we are grateful to have met and spent the time with your team.
