KAR Performance has officialy closed business.

Hi guys.

So I was looking to pay Shane a visit and to my surprise he was closed. I have since heard that he has closed up shop. Is this true is KAR in Kempton closed for good ?

Yip closed up for good.

Yes I also was looking to go to the shop but before i went i whatsapp'd him and he advised me he closed up around November unfortunately :dunnoanymore: it's sad to see such a well known shop close down and Shane was a terrific guy, never had any bad experiences by him.
I need to find a new place to get my Dyno's done now

CoLab Tuning in Isando purchased KAR's dyno, looks like that will be the new go to once it's up and running.

Thank you for the info @J-Peter :thumbs:, I contacted CoLab after seeing your post and they said they are hoping to have it up and running by the first week of Feb.
Would be nice to be able to still use the same Dyno to compare to our previous results.

In case anyone wanted to know, The old Dyno from Kar Performance is setup and ready, saw on their Facebook page and calibration stayed the same

I have only read good things about Kar Performance. Sad that they closed but also good to hear the dyno legacy will continue with Colab Tuning.:bravo:

Glad to hear the dyno is running, my N55 was dyno'd there.. Wonderful experience.. All the best to the new owners! :thumbs:
